SSC CGL Result 2024 for the Tier 1 exam will be released online at www.ssc.gov.in in pdf format and the candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to check their SSC CGL Tier 1 Result.

Visit the official website of SSC (https://ssc.gov.in/) to check the SSC CGL Result 2024 for Tier-1 Exam.

Go to the Result section and Click on the CGL tab in Orange Color.

Now Click on the "Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2024 Candidates provisionally shortlisted to appear in Tier-2" Result Links for the posts you have appeared in the exa

Now Download the SSC CGL Result 2024 PDF file and Save this result PDF.

Step 5: |
SSC CGL Tier 1 Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.

Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.

Step 7: |
If your Name and Roll No. are there on the list, you have qualified to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.

- Name of the Examination i.e. Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 (Tier 1)
- On top of the SSC CGL Result PDF- List of Candidates Qualified in Tier 1 is mentioned.
- Name of the Post- Assistant Audit Officer & Assistant Accounts Officer Posts (AAOs)/Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)/Statistical Investigator Gr. II/POSTS OTHER THAN AAOs/JSO/STAT.INV.
- The Roll Numbers of the Qualified candidates same as those mentioned on their hall tickets.
- The full Names of the Qualified candidates are also displayed on the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 pdf.

How to Calculate Marks For SSC CGL Results 2024
If the candidates have an idea about how the marks are calculated, they can form a fair idea about the results too. The steps to calculate SSC CGL Result are given below:
- The Tier 1 exam carries a total of 800 marks. There are 500 questions in the exam.
- Each question carries 2 marks in all 4 papers. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
- This is an MCQ type paper and there is a set marking scheme for this.
- There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
- To calculate the total marks obtained by the candidate, use the following formula:
- Total Marks = (No. Of Correct Questions * 2) - (No. Of Incorrect Questions * 0.50).

Let's take an example to make the process more clear for you. If a candidate answered 350 questions correctly and 100 questions incorrectly, then the calculation would be as follows:

350 * 2 = 700 |

Number of Incorrect Questions = 100 |
Step 4: |
100 * 0.50 = 50 |

700 - 50 = 650 |
