  • The SSC CPO Eligibility defines the physical standards required to be met by all applicants. The SSC CPO Physical test for male and female candidates will be different. Details of the same are given below.

    SSC CPO Eligibility 2024- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
    For Male Candidate
    1. 100 meters race in 16 seconds
    2. 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
    3. Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 3 chances
    4. High Jump: 1.2 metres in 3 chances
    5. Shot put (16 Lbs.): 4.5 metres in 3 chance

    For Female Candidate
    1. 100 metres race in 18 seconds
    2. 800 metres race in 4 minutes
    3. Long Jump: 2.7 metres in 3 chances.
    4. High Jump: 0.9 metres in 3 chances.


    SSC CPO Medical Test

    The SSC CPO Medical Examination is a comprehensive assessment to ensure candidates meet the required health and physical standards for the job. Here are the main tests conducted during the medical examination:

    Eye Test Check vision without eyeglasses. Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9, near vision N6 and N9 without correction. Check for colour vision and squint. Poor vision, colour blindness, squint
    Lasik Surgery  Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery are disqualified. Machine test used for confirmation.  History of Lasik surgery 
    Colour Blindness Candidates asked to read numbers in a colour dotted book to check for colour blindness. Fails colour blindness test
    Flat Foot and Knock Knee Test to check if knees touch when standing at a 90-degree angle (Knock Knee) and if foot has a proper curve shape (Flat Foot). Knock Knee or Flat Foot detected
    Urine Sample Collection of urine sample for general health assessment. -
    Sensibility Checkup Test of nose, ear, mouth, and teeth for normal functioning. -
    Blood Test Check haemoglobin, STDs, and other diseases. CBC report for blood cell count. Abnormal haemoglobin levels or presence of STDs/diseases
    Physical Body Check Assessment of overall physical health, blood pressure, weight, height, and BMI calculation. Abnormal blood pressure, weight, height, or BMI
    X-Ray of Chest Only applicable for male candidates to check for any chest abnormalities. Chest abnormalities detected
    Hand Movement Test Check for efficient movement and carrying angles of hands. Inefficient hand movement or carrying angles

    Additional Tests With the Medical Test
    There are some additional tests that are carried out with Medical tests and all these tests are mandatory for each of the candidates trying to apply for selection. Below is the list of tests carried out :

    • Teeth: Your teeth must be proper and countable.
    • Varicose Veins: These veins are found from feet to the stomach. These are responsible for Varicocele.
    • Arms: Arms should be properly movable.
    • Hydrocele and also piles problem should not be there.
    • Backbone: Your backbone should be in proper and straighten up the order.
